About the Business
Applied Psychology Services is a specialist independent provider of clinical psychology services for people with intellectual disabilities, autism, Asperger syndrome and other pervasive developmental disorders. It was founded in 1987 by Ewa Zarkowska, a chartered clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience of working with and supporting this client group. Our aim has always been to promote the highest standards of care and support to this vulnerable population Over the years we have gained a national reputation for our work with both adults and children with complex needs, particularly those whose behaviours are a serious cause for concern and those who experience significant emotional disturbance. We have developed a particular expertise in supporting individuals with autism and Asperger Syndrome. We work throughout the UK with the whole spectrum of service providers - Health, Education, Social Services and the Private Sector.
