About the Business
This was a three-year training in the theory and practice of individual and couples counselling and psychotherapy. These are: Gestalt Therapy and Pellin Contribution-Training. I have since studied Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy as another part of the Integrative Technique. Contribution-Training is sometimes called 'Codified Common-Sense' because it is practical and constructive. This qualifies me to teach Self-Help techniques which you can continue to use after your counselling sessions have ended.
Understanding issues 'in depth' can help us let go of unhelpful behaviour-patterns and move on to a better future. The term ‘unfinished business' comes from Gestalt Therapy. I also had my own counselling which helped me overcome the difficulites I was struggling with at the time. This made me enthusiastic about Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I began training for a professional qualification in 1985.
