About the Business
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Leicester and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)and chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a Chartered Scientist with The Science Council and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine.
I have held permanent positions in the NHS working with children from 0 to 18 years and now specialise in providing private, flexible independent clinics to provide detailed assessments and specifically tailored therapeutic interventions for a range of emotional and behaviour difficulties. I use a number of theoretical and herapeutic perspectives within my interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused ideas, developmental models, attachment theory, Theraplay and narrative and systemic approaches. Treatment is specifically tailored to your child's individual needs and our mutually identified goals.
