About the Business
Everyone is unique. The Tunbridge Wells Psychologist uses a range of approaches to tailor therapy to you and your difficulties and provides an individually tailored treatment approach.
TWP uses evidence-based and effective treatment and therapy approaches including:
- Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
- Compassion focused therapy (CFT)
- Mindfulness and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT)
- Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
- Couples Therapy
Many difficulties that people want to focus on improving after short-term therapy (i.e. 6 to 16 sessions), with changes usually being noticed within a few sessions.
Other difficulties can benefit from a longer period of therapy (20 sessions or more). These approaches can be helpful when someone has experienced long-standing patterns difficulty.
TWP will discuss your recommended number of sessions at the end of the first assessment appointment, but you will always be able to make the final choice as to how many sessions you would like and how often you would like them.
