Accredited member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP - Accred.) Diploma of Higher Education (with Distinction) in Counselling - validated by John Moores' University, Liverpool - 1997. Working with Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse (Support and Management) - ENB course RO6 - 1997. University of Chester - modules from M.A. in Counselling: Brief Counselling; Working with Children and Young People: Training. From a background in nursing, I have worked in the field of substance misuse, as a key worker and a group facilitator.
I have counselled in general practice and for more than 7 years, I worked as a college counsellor providing counselling to students and staff within a college of further education. In my present private practice, I see clients referred from employee assistance programmes, some with work-related issues, in addition to providing counselling therapy to those requesting private counselling.
