About the Business
She currently works part-time in the NHS within a clinical health psychology department, and runs an evening clinic as part of her private practice. Sophie completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with Healing Arts at the University of Derby (2000). She then went on to undertake research in Alcohol and Drug Misuse at Liverpool John Moores University whilst continuing her studies at The University of Manchester where she gained a Master of Science Degree in Applied Psychology (2004).
She progressed her career by working with older adults both as a researcher with The University of Manchester and as an Assistant Psychologist for the NHS. Sophie completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The University of Manchester (2007). Since qualifying she has been employed full time by the NHS as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working with adolescents and adults presenting with a wide range of mental health problems.
